"Always a comfortable place to stay after a long drive, new lifts and key card upgrades are great. The ladies smoking outside the front door were a bit intimidating, this was in no way a reflection on the hotel. Easy quick and seamless check in was also a relief after driving 8 hours. Always a pleasure and highly recommended."

"Positives- Hotel is in a great position for walking to restaurants and bars and is close to the stadium. Apartment was spacious and bed was comfortable. Option of a pillow menu if desired. Negatives- We had booked a 1 bedroom with balcony as per the pictures on the booking site and when at check in I confirmed the roommate told that was not what we had been allocated but we could pay an additional nightly fee to upgrade. "In Far North Queensland I like Townsville best of all. It has full facilities and a nice open feel. The Oaks overlooking the River is perfect for a relaxing getaway. I couldn't fault it."
