"The room, like the hotel, was run down. The whole place needs to be modernized. The air conditioning in my room wasn't working (it was 38C outside). I told the staff, they said that there was nothing that they could do. I spent a very uncomfortable night there. By the way, a better and far less expensive breakfast can be had a the MickyD next door"

"The cleanliness was on point and the cleaning lady was really nice. Reception was alright, but I had to wait 2 days for someone to come and fix the shower cable, after I had told them 3 times. Even after the shower cable was ‘fixed’ though, there was still water coming out of the shower plate, which developed a small flooding each time I would shower. That, I had told them too. They did offer another room, but I was staying just for 3 nights, so I declined. Okay, in the overall."

"This place is amazing. It was built as a winery in 1600’s and now it has been converted into a hotel. The architecture and interior finish is beautiful. The grounds and pool are meticulously maintained. It was a treat to have a full hot breakfast rather than the usual continental. It was very quiet however we were there in October."

"Beautiful hotel in a gorgeous town. Our stay was very relaxing. The rooms were so nice. Beautifully decorated, best port view, robes… Everything is walkable which adds to the convenience. The hotel and the town are quite charming. There was a wedding reception at the hotel our second evening, no notice. So they closed the restaurant. Loud music starting right at 11pm til past 2am. A voucher for a nearby restaurant would have been a nice gesture in lieu of the inconvenience and the loud music ."

"Hotel is beautiful surrounded by lovely gardens, the hotel receptionist was extremely helpful with everything we enquired about (female). Two things we were disappointed in was the breakfast, which could be improved dramatically - I know they cater mainly for Italian tourists, but we have been to many other Italian hotels and this one has the poorest breakfast of all of them, for example: no cheese on ham, only pastries, bread and yoghurts very poor, and very little fruit. "Although it was off season, the staff was very accommodating to our needs. They opened the salt spa to us, were helpful in making dining arrangements, and were very helpful in general "
