Communication could have been improved as after stating our time of arrival which was earlier, it was assumed that we could check in sooner as we weren't then advised something to the effect of "Great, you cannot check in until xxpm but you may use the pool etc". We had a beautiful private balcony with sea views complete with very comfortable outdoor furnishings and a sun umbrella for the afternoons.
