"Comfort room was comfortable although not really warm enough when we arrived - we turned the radiator up and eventually it did warm the room reasonably well. To be fair it was a very cold day with snow on the ground. "

"Has 2 nights at this hotel. Breakfast selection was great. Pool facilities included in the price was great. Would definitely stay there again. Room was very presentable. 5*"

"We loved our large bedroom and the bar area, full of character, wood panelling etc. Bathrooms were Ok. Our son’s room was more modern but spacious. We were meeting family so didn’t dine in the evening but the breakfast was the usual fare, a bit dry but what what do you expect when you turn up at 9:45, not many booked in for breakfast apparently. Staff pleasant and helpful. Will stay again. "

"It was a lovely stay, room nice and spacious and food good. Found one lady was rude to customers. Not approachable at all, not sure if she was a manager or supervisor as didn't wear a uniform like the other staff. "

"We really enjoyed our one night weekend stay. The hotel is set in lovely grounds- Reception staff very friendly. We enjoyed a large room overlooking the grounds. Great bar and dining experience. The Spa facilities were an added bonus. We would definitely revisit if in the area. "
