"Once you worked out how to go from the carpark to the hotel, everything else was seamless and effort free. Staff were eager to help, but you didn't need any help. Everything in the room was as it should be, new condition, clean and well arranged. And the local area was all you could ask for."

"This is an ideal location, right along the oceanfront promenade and very close to the docks for charters and tours. Cairns has lots of great dining options and cool things to see whether out on the reef or back in the jungle. The hotel itself has a couple of lap pools that aren't really big but okay for a cooling dunk. There is a massive outdoor public pool just steps away though. Right next door to the hotel is the night market, it is also just down the street from the aquarium and 15...
