"Ashford Castle was the best hotel that I have ever visited. The staff is delightful and facilities exceptional. We enjoyed a private Hawk Walk lead by Mel. She was terrific. We played 9 holes and had the course to ourselves. The grounds are breathtaking. The room that we stayed in thru Hotels.com was 420. What a beautiful room with lots of light. It was just amazing. It was a bit of heaven! You must visit. "

"We arrived after a long day of sightseeing and driving.The hotel is perfectly located across from the promenade and parking is plentiful and easy. The front desk staff was welcoming and the room was lovely. The food was tasty and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We were only there for one night, but I would recommend a longer stay."

"We had a great stay at the Western Hotel! The room was comfortable and surprisingly spacious for the price. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the city center, which was perfect—close enough to everything but still quiet at night. Breakfast had a solid variety of options, and every staff member we interacted with was warm and helpful. Would definitely stay again!"

"I would’ve preferred to have two room keys (maybe I missed something when checking in via the kiosk?). Shower was terrible - flooded the bathroom floor and leaked down to the floor beneath us (room 206). Apart from that, lovely room in a lovely location. "
