"Excellent location. We first were put in a “balcony” room overlooking some back streets and office buildings or something. The room smelled of smoke and had cigarette burns in the carpet. Although smoking not allowed. Room was small and depressing. This was already say $550 a night. We upgraded to much larger upgraded balcony room on Champs Elyse cost us $250 more a night but worth it. "

"This is a magnificent property. In fact, it is hard to imagine a hotel more magnificent as it is literally right at the entrance to the palace of Versailles. The hotel is beautiful, the grounds amazing and it is ideally situated. The rooms are nice but not great, somewhat small. Also, the doors in the annex at least are built in such a way as to make them slam shut which resulted in our hearing doors slamming shut all night long. "

"The staff was very friendly, helpful and responsive. The location was excellent. The property was clean and we felt very safe during our stay. The room space was excellent compared to other hotels within the same price range. Some things could be updated (i.e. carpet, furniture), but overall it was a wonderful stay. Again, the staff were excellent and helped make our stay in Paris one to remember."

"This is Europes only 6 star. But it is a huge massive glamour house and has so many moving parts. The newer renovated rooms are much better than the old, the older suites are wonderful and so chic but corporates and very cold. The new suites have re introduced classic high end French style and all are with wonderful views."
