"My wife and I stayed overnight to meet up with family and have a meal together. The room was lovely, clean, and welcoming. Bathroom was modern and clean with good shower. The staff were very friendly and the service was great! We had a meal in the restaurant which was wonderful, the breakfast was equally as good! All in all a great stay and I can see us revisiting. "

"Just love to stay in pubs like this full of old world charm. The Gainsborough room was excellent. Would just say though that drinks a bit on the expensive side for a pub"

"Beautiful room with a lovely roll top bath in the annex building. Plenty of parking, friendly & helpful staff. Good cooked to order breakfast (extra charge). Have the option to use the living room in the main house in the evening. 10/10 would love to stay here again!"

"Easy check in, on first impression room was a good size , bed comfortable , bathroom the toilet looked like it had been broken for dome time, we did message North gate to inform them along with photos, but no response , crack in toilet seat is unhygienic ! Cobwebs in the bathroom as well Breakfast was ok We did inform someone about the toilet seat again when we checked out"
