"My stay there was adequate.The staff were very friendly and accommodating.The location was brilliant being across the road from the lake and walking distance to a pub 100m up the road and Taupo central.The only criticisms I would make is the parking up the back was a bit cramped , the microwave smelt like an old phone box and the spa bath need a scrub.It looked like the previous guest had given themselves a Brazilian the night before.Otherwise would stay there again but would be very carefull of...

"Minus: My room was just sufficient, but not practical. And at night I had to tape cardboard on the window pane to screen from the outside electrical light, and to darken the room enough for sleep. Plus: good location, good atmosphere, good facilities. "

"This is a basic type of accommodation but good value for the price. There is no front desk, it is check in my text and given a code. That ended a little bit of a hiccup but overall would stay again. 8/10"
