"The hotel is very smart and, although has a lot of rooms, never felt especially busy. It’s a 25-35’ walk to town (uphill on the way back) but the two helpful shuttle buses mean the only challenge is getting home from dinner. The gym and spa area and gym are large and excellent. Most importantly, all the staff were fantastically friendly and fell over backwards to look after you."

"We stayed for six nights at Chalet Le Grazie. The owners have gone through a careful and tasteful renovation. It was a pleasure staying here. They thought of every detail. The place is very comfortable, spacious and entirely updated. The owners were available, responsive, and friendly. I look forward to coming back here with my extended family. Staff, in particular Umberto very helpful not just with food and wine (using Coravin to provide a wide selection by the glass), but also any other questions we had including hiking suggestions, which were spot on for us. "Easily the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Five stars means five stars here. The staff are on hand for everything you could ever need and more. Rooms are huge and spacious, breakfast is plentiful, and the shuttle service is a huge help. Had the most incredible stay - not a single thing to fault!"

"Amazing, amazing property. One of a kind view, big table for working and eating, free toiletries. It was the best property we stayed in during our 3-week Italy trip. The staff were so easy to contact, as well - very warm and friendly. It was the perfect place for us to recuperate after a particularly exhausting drive."

"We had an incredible stay. The room was spacious and clean. Food was excellent, the staff very friendly and ready to help. The spa is lovely. We loved it so much that we considered coming again for a short stay during the Summer as well. The only small inconvenience I would say, the ski in and out is not really accurate, you have to walk about 3-5 min to the slope. Otherwise everything was absolutely top notch. "

"I needed step by step instructions by car, and dark, and gps wouldn't work. They were so patient and sweet and the owner came by at night to make sure we were okay, since it was late. Great caring people! Front desk young lady the next day was also extremely helpful and sweet. Breakfast was huge with great variety and taste! Strongly recommend"

"Greif is ideally located in a spacious & astoundingly picturesque position. It has 2 private ski shuttle busses & ski hire. It has the most beautiful large pool and indoor outdoor in the snow spa. It has its own multi talented muso for entertainment. The breakfast buffet is huge with every conceivable choice. Highly recommended. Just keep it a secret. 😂 "

Charming place, great food, note the church bells

"What a charming place! The breakfast was splendid. We ate one night of dinner board there and the second across the street at the sister restaurant. Was great to have that variety. The only drawback to our stay was the constant church bells every 15 mins and the rooster in the mornings. Be aware that the bells ring until 11 pm and start at 7 am. Made it hard to go to bed early or nap at all. I know this isn’t in the control of the hotel. But in the summer when you need the door/windows open it’s something to consider or don’t forget the earplugs. Another plus is the nice little yard areas to sit outside, have a drink, read a book. "
