"It’s a decent stay for the price. The property is starting to show its age and the health club was out of commission during my stay. Included breakfast is good, not exceptional. It’s a short walk to the city center and all the great restaurants and pubs so not bad overall. "

"Perfect location, city centre with car park and swimming pool across the road. Was expecting camp bed for the kids but they had a cubby area with bunk beds very handy. Staff were very friendly and nothing was an issue.Breakfast is the usual full irish buffet style but they do offer made to order if required for vegetarian etc."

"We were returning to the Heritage after getting engaged here 4 years ago. They upgraded us to a suite which was a lovely surprise and the room was fantastic. Our only issue we discovered with the hotel was the lobby and adjoining areas, including where we had afternoon tea and dinner were all a bit cold. My wife had to keep her coat on in all rooms of the hotel and though I don't normally feel the cold, had to keep a jumper on at all times. The pool area could do with a revival also, it...

"Overall the hotel was good, the only points I would raise are with the room. A big room was allocated with a Queen size double and two singles, presumably a family room. It was at the top of a steep stair, not good for children. The smart TV was so smart it gave you the program it wanted no matter what you selected. The bathroom was fine except for only one hook to hang towels on and the small radiator not fixed to the wall. I would use the hotel again but not in rooms 15 and 16"

"The rooms were old and needed major upgrades. The beds were ancient. The stairs up and down, little hallways, and more stairs, throughout the hotel were like a maze. The bartenders and wait staff were excellent and the location was good. But there are much better choices for the amount we paid."

"From the moment we arrived we were very impressed with this hotel, grounds and surroundings. From the friendly doorman to Dermot the concierge who took our bags, ordered our taxis etc, to the lovely receptionists and that was before we took in the beautiful decor, comfort and layout of bars and restaurants and before we got to our bedroom which was more like a suite as was huge with a lovely view of the estate. The food was excellent and it was lovely to chill in the little bar area at reception...
