"Absolutely beautiful place to stay! The host couldnt have done more to make us feel welcome with lots of extra special touches. She left oatcskes, local cheese and butter, homemade jam and shortcake, ive never stayed anywhere like it for thoughtfulness. Superb, will definitely return."

"Beautiful setting, close to Luss and good restaurants 10 - 15 minutes away in Helensburgh. Easy to drive to. The space was great- comfortable, clean, with everything we needed. The host was really nice, available and knew so much about the area. Thank you for a great stay. "

I had requested an early entry by 2 hours and in short was told yes for £50 payment as he had to arrange someone to be at the house. "Blinkbonnie cottage has been the perfect little base of operations for our day trips into various parts of Scotland. The location is peaceful and out of the way but central enough to get to pretty much anywhere in the highlands in an hour or two by car. "I booked a hot tub weekend away for my husband and I to the Steadings and what a beautifully clean and comfortable cottage it was. The owners met us as we drove to the cottage to show us around. Wonderful overnight stay in Dunblane

"Wonderful stay at Dunblane Hydro with friends. Our room was well equipped with everything we needed. We were lucky enough to get a room with a stunning view over the town and the hills. The bed was extremely comfortable and bathroom spacious and immaculately clean. Our meal in the Kailyard by Nick Nairn was amazing and the staff were so friendly and attentive . Welcoming reception staff ensured our table was booked for dinner and hot cookies on arrival was a nice touch. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we’ve had in hotels with a wide selection and piping hot cooked food. Didn’t use the leisure facilities but did enjoy a relaxing drink in one of the lounges. Check out time meant we did not need to rush away in the morning."

Idyllic and relaxing

"The hotel is minutes walking distance from the train station and the view down is idyllic itself looking towards the water. The check in was easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful asked us if we would like to book our meal in the restaurant and although we were also told when breakfast was, I liked that everything you’d need to know was also on the key ring to your room. The room was spacious, the view was amazing from either windows and the shower was exceptional. The bed was so comfy and the coffee machine is a nice touch. I also love that the shampoo, conditioner and soaps are all scottish made and all natural. The extras of the dental kit (toothbrush and toothpaste) and shaving kit(shaving gel and razor) was a nice suprise. The breakfast was excellent, there was a lot of great choices available and the fruit tasted fresh. The bar area is also a nice place to have drinks or something to eat as it’s relaxing and full of character and charm. "
