"The house is located rural, next to a unpaved road en a small stream. It is not luxury but wel equipped and comfortable. It offer a lot value for money. Due to the trees it is relatively cool on hot summer days. In Lormes , which has a nice atmosphere, there are supermarket, several good shops for food and some cafe’s. The surrounding is suited for some shorter day trips and for walking. For cooling down on hot days there is a small lake at a 15 minutes walk from the house"

Everyone slept soundly and we enjoyed tractors going past the doorstep and giving a wave in the morning. A small note - I have left enough toilet paper for the next guests. Not possible to buy in the little hamlet and with families, maybe good to err on side of generous..."

Kitchen was well equipped but small for more than one person. Very good shower. Fantastic dog walks all around and lakes for swimming just 15 minutes away...

Bring your own teapot if you need one! A useful bread van comes 3 times a week with baguettes. Nearest village shops (in St Père) are about a 10 minute drive. Neither our 'school' French nor the owners' English was good so the booking process via the web site emails wasn't easy. The whole booking process...

"A spacious and comfortable house in a beautiful and peaceful location overlooking a canal. There is plenty of outdoor space and you can enjoy walks along the canal. The owners, who live next door, are exceptionally kind and helpful. Highly recommended, especially for families."

"Nous sommes venus à Saint-Honoré-les-Bains pour fêter les 1 an de notre fils. Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel. La maison est tout à fait adaptée pour accueillir de grandes familles (nous étions 17, dont deux bébés). Les équipements sont parfaits, les différentes pièces de vie spacieuses et agréables (surtout le salon avec le babyfoot) et les chambres (toutes avec salle de bain) permettent aux invités d'avoir tous leurs espaces. "La villa est magnifique, propre et fonctionnelle. Il y a de quoi s'occuper, billard, jeux, baby foot, piscine, jacuzzi, etc. Malheureusement nous n'avons pas eu droit au soleil et à la chaleur du coup nous avons bien profité du jacuzzi. Je recommande."

"Ideal for two people, I was with my son (12) and we stayed 4 days at that lovely spot. Even with no AC in the summer, the place kept a certain coolness with the shades down. The kitchen is equipped to prepare some meals. We enjoy every evening a short walk to the Calvaire panorama, beautiful. We did the 14km Vélorail trail which is 1km from the studio, under tree shades. The city is very quiet and well situated to explore the Morvan. Enjoy."
