"The location is on the edge of a quiet village and with only subtle sounds of frogs from the pond and whinnies from the horse it was bliss. This was our 2nd stay and would love to come back again. Transport is required to access local shops but the ride out is so lovely it isnt a worry. We stayed for the 80th anniversary of D-Day and found it a good base to stay for the events. The apple juice left for us was very welcome and the use of the BBQ was excellent as we had such good weather. The gite...

"The pictures do not do the property justice, it is stunning, however the decking in front of the main building needs replacing as it is very unsteady to walk on. It did not spoil our stay though and the hosts were very helpful with any message or contact we made to them, including a very early call to say we had lost the gate key to allow us to leave for our ferry, not a word of complaint from them and they tried so hard to help but we eventually located the key. I must stress this was entirely...

The roads leading to it are very narrow and without sat-nav it would be quite difficult to find initially. "Clean comfortable bed. Nice hot shower. Elevator to 3rd floor. Very accommodating staff. However coming back at night is a little disconcerting since everything is dark. "A beautiful venue in picturesque surroundings. A friendly welcome on arrival and easy to settle in. Recommended the breakfast, it was a perfect way to fuel up for the day ahead! Set away from the road, you will need to be prepared to walk down a slope to the reception and it is not wheelchair safe due to the gravel drives. "
