"We had 18 hours in Addis Ababa and the Bentark hotel was a good central location to join our Tastes of Ethiopia tour and also close to the airport. The rooftop bar was also nice with live jazz and a good view. We had some confusion over a “roof charge” from the bar, and the bar manager came knocking on our door in the middle of the night, but otherwise the staff weee all great, airport transfers were very smooth and the room was clean."

"The front desk employees and the manager are the worst i ever seen. The rooms are bad and no hot water in the room to shower. Food is bad. They advertise that they have a shuttle but they don't send any one to pick you up from the airport. I had to pay money and take a taxi to the hotel where i stayed only 1 day. Wat a disgusting place and managers. I don't know how this hotel got 4 star!"
