"We loved our stay at Lost Creek Bluebird. We didn't expect the commute to the marina but loved the seclusion of the house. We had some of our family come in from St. Louis and some came from NE Arkansas and the house was a perfect meeting place where we were all under one roof. We played games, roasted marshmallows, made cupcakes and just enjoyed each others company."

Pros: 1) House by itself on a large piece of land 2) Very quiet and peaceful 3)House is large with plenty of room 4) Nicely remodeled with very nice furnishings 5) The one bed we slept on was very comfortable 6) Amazing view of the sun coming up over the hill in the mornings Cons: 1) Although newly remodeled, it's still a very old house and the old house smell is crazy strong. "We traveled to Advance for a long weekend to view the total solar eclipse. Host provided excellent instructions for arrival. Every room was as described. Nice decor - including vintage duck decoys. Grocery shopping was nearby. We had a delicious meal and delicious drinks at El Mexicano restaurant. There were Subway and McDonald’s fast food options nearby as well."
