Es ist zwar ein Haus aber wir hatten lediglich eine Wohnung oben, die nur über eine Treppe zu erreichen ist (davon stand nichts in der Beschreibung). "Property has a spectacular view but that was about all it had. It was very run down and dirty and most stuff was broken. This could be a great rental but not at this moment. The owner was very food and relocated us thankfully. Be aware we attempted to reach out to VRBO but they were no help, we will use someone else next time as we wasted days try to sort out this issue."

"Your 15 minutes away from most things by car, but its the most beautiful 15 minutes of driving through wineries and olive oil facilities. The host graciously met us and gave us a tour. They thought of everything including a blue light for flies and mosquitoes! The outdoor space and patios are a force to be reckoned with. I sat on the patio with the friendly bees and read books while the kids ran around in a treehouse and played on the swing."

"This flat is exactly what we needed. It is very close to the Valley of the Temples. We walked there the first day. We also walked to city center (which is up hill!). There’s a supermarket next door and restaurants within walking distance. Francesco is very nice, and gave us good advice about the area. Should we return to the area, we would stay here again. "

"We will forever remember this beautiful Villa and our wonderful hosts. Everything was like a dream come true. We felt like we had stepped back in time in some ways and were immersed in true Sicilian heritage. We were readily accepted by everyone in this beautiful and quaint town with immaculate places to eat and shop. We hope we can visit again! we truly recommend Villa Gardenia and Giovanni and Felicia!"

"We had a super 2 weeks in this villa. Giuseppe is a brilliant host. From day 1 communication was helpful and prompt. All information was passed on at the relevant point. He could not have been better. The villa is really well-equipped and comfortable. The pool was a real boon when the weather was hot and was well maintained and cleaned every few days. The villa was easy to find and was well placed to access a lot of local sites. Thank you, Giuseppe for a fantastic holiday."

"A really lovely family run hotel in a good location. Close to beach, restaurants and bars. Food in the restaurant was brilliant so we ate there every night. Breakfast was good too. Quiet and relaxing just what we needed. We had a very comfortable room which was well equipped and balcony and sea view for 4 nights and decided to stay on for a further 3 nights All members of the family were pleasant and very helpful..Nothing too much trouble at all. "Stunning location. Lovely host and super helpful nephew - nothing was too much trouble. . Beach a short walk away - will give you a good work out though! Remote but drive away from shops in Siculiana and other remote beaches along the coast. We had the best time. Thank you."

"We chose this hotel for a quick one night stay to stab into Valley of the Temples park just 3 minutes away first thing in the morning, which we did. We found the room on the small side. The air conditioner seemed to run with odd intermittent noises. Our main issue was with the shower. First, the doors slid apart from the center on tracks as in a closet, but one door was so off-track, it was hanging on 1 of 4 rollers. I was able to get the top two back on track, but the bottom two needed tools....

Beautiful, peaceful retreat with a fabulous host

"This was a magical place and definitely worth a visit. After visiting Palermo this was the peaceful retreat we were looking for. Our host was absolutely wonderful - he greeted us outside, brought our luggage up to the room and promptly offered us cappuccinos with fresh home-made cookies that he then brought up to our room and set it up on the balcony so we could enjoy the views. He provided tour guides/maps and recommended local restaurants and even called to make a last minute reservation for us for dinner. The house is gorgeous and was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our room was beautiful, spacious and clean with the best variety of toiletries we had on our whole tour of Sicily. Our balcony and view was incredible. Our breakfast each day was fabulous with fresh local cheeses, meats and a variety of homemade jams and freshly baked bread and warm torta. Our host was lovely and I wish we could have stayed there forever. "
