The check-in itself can have some improvement as the automated service with the help of an automate outside the main entrance does not work if you book via Expedia. "We had previously written Memmingen off as a purely transit town - handy for the nearby airport and nothing else. This was based on the less-than-inspiring train station and it’s immediate vicinity. However, on this visit we were pleasantly surprised to discover a remarkable ’old town’ district a short walk away.
