"Francoise has a lovely home, with lots of space and a fantastic patio. It is beautifully decorated and is well stocked with cups, glasses (for any beverage), cutlery (oyster knives!), pots, pans and just about anything you need. We really enjoyed our stay. The home is very close to Amboise, but it is recommended that you have a rental car as the walk to town would be difficult. However, the drive into town is very easy. Parking is available. "The property was perfect for our short 2-night stay to visit Zoo de Beauval and Chenonceau. The house was clean, well-appointed and comfy with plenty of games for the children. "The location was perfect. We could walk everywhere in town. As americans we had some difficulty finding the parking spot..those are places people from the midwest don't think are places we can drive! But we were greatful to have a designated spot for our trips to the chateaus."
