"Fantastic property for spending some time at the sea. A short stroll to the beach, the lighthouse, or some nice local restaurants incl the fantastic A La Grecque. Property was comfortable and had everything we needed. Would have liked a coffee machine but no major issue as we generally bring a moka pot with us. The front of the property doesn't have a fence so if bringing a dog with selective hearing (like mine) you may need to tie them up when sat on the decking for your morning coffee. No...

"Although the location is great, this property needs some serious updating. Couches were absolutely filthy, remotes to televisions didn’t work, split system remote doesn’t work & only works on air conditioning manually in which is accessed with a chair to stand on. Some lights didn’t work in the house. Unable to use toaster & kettle without blowing the fuse. Curtains only to two bedrooms, no doors. The list goes on. We made the most of our stay but would never stay here again."

I love the sea, my husband loves the bush and A River Bed Cottage ticket all the boxes. Situated in an idllyic pocket of Aireys Inlet. It was very peaceful and we had the river at our door step (approximately 20 metres from the cottage).
