"It’s difficult to describe how nice our stay in Fes was. This house is magical. Communication with Christophe was easy, and he even set up a ride for us to Volubilis (must-see). Just be sure that the taxi driver understands the price you’ll pay before you head anywhere, in case of miscommunication. We could watch/listen to the call to prayer in the morning and evening. "This charming and authentic Riad is in a great location to explore Fes. Stairs to second and third floor are narrow and a bit tricky to navigate if you are older. The rooms are comfortable each with its own HVAC unit. Would highly recommend dining at Cafe Clock and taking a cooking lesson there with Chef Souad."

"This Riad in Fes was beautifully presented and maintained. It had the authentic Moroccan ambiance with beautiful furnishings and details as shown in the site. Both Tahir and Hamza were very welcoming and helpful to see to all our needs and questions. The beds were very comfortable and bathroom was clean and modern. The hamman and massage experience was very private and amazing. We were treated to lovely breakfasts with an lively cook, Fatima, it felt like we were in a warm and friendly home. The only issue was getting to the Riad from the main road-access is limited as we needed to carry or roll all our luggage for quite a while. Other than that, it was a lovely stay. "

"The hotel and staff were really nice. The staff were very helpful to me and printed my boarding pass. I cant recommend them enough i felt so welcome. The actual hotel is beautiful inside. There is a view from the rooftop which gets the sun. The view faces east away from the main city but is pretty enough. The only downside is its quite hard to find and the medina felt a little unsafe for foreigner travelling alone. I think if I was with a friend this might not have been an issue so much. I don't want to put people off too much as it was a very nice hotel and good price. Just be aware of the area, the medina of Fez is very authentic but it has downsides."

Beautiful historic building, good service

"You get a pleasant surprise when you first enter the riad from the narrow street and corridor. It opens up into a beautiful foyer area. Our room was also a lovely historic room with an impressive painted ceiling. The room had everything we needed and we slept very well. Breakfast was good and served on the rooftop in a nice room with large windows. The service was generally very good although they did appear to be short staffed. The receptionist kept answering by phone while trying to check us in at the same time. We also found the front door locked and were unable to leave as a receptionist wasn’t at the desk. The walk to the centre of the medina take about 20 minutes and you will come across locals telling you certain routes are “closed” trying to get you to pay them money to show you the way. Trust your phone GPS. The hotel is near a road accessible by cars which is convenient for drop off and pick up. No need to drag cases through the narrow streets. "
