"We booked this last minute as another hotel had let us down which threatened to ruin our holiday. Although it was one of the more expensive options we were not disappointed. The service was friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. We were given a complementary drink on the terrace. The pool area was lovely. Not quite silence - there are sheep a couple of fields away and the hum of insects gorging on the flowers. Walks through the fields and woods in the area from the front door.
