Amazing flat!

Great apartment! Centrally located on the main drag in Akuryeri and right next to this fabulous cafe called Berlin! The flat itself was spacious yet cozy, and after traveling for a few days it was a nice place to relax and watch movies while it snowed outside. The beds and linens were very comfortable, and there was off-street parking in a private lot. Would definitely book again! Wish we stayed longer than 1 night!

This property was excellent value and perfect for our stay, centrally located in Akureyri. The property has a well equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom and very comfortable beds. Communication with the host was excellent. Our only improvement would be curtains in the bedroom as the blinds don't keep out the outside light. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and would happily return.

Perfect home away from home with everything you need including a dishwasher, an oven with newly laid baking sheets and a washer. The bed linens were very comfortable and clean.

Comfortable and spacious. My niece (6 years old) said she wanted to “stay a thousand nights.” Loft area was fun for her and practical for the rest of us. Central location with parking close by. Recommended for groups with plenty of room, nice bathroom and full functional kitchen.

Great location, spacious, easy parking, easy checkin and check out with key box and instructions. Husband is a bit noise sensitive and you can hear neighbors/outside noise but this is city living. I like dark rooms when sleeping and the apartment didn’t have black out curtains. Otherwise the apartment had everything if you were going to cook and it could easily fit more than 2 people.

The apartment is nice and clean. It is located in a very convenient area. However. We received the wrong check-in information with wrong key box code and video. We spent more than 1 hour trying to find the building in the video that were sent to us. But the video was misleading and the code was wrong. It was a horrible experience . We had to make multiple calls to solve the problem.

Lovely place right in the downtown area. Had everything we needed for our stay. Kids loved the loft and getting to climb the latter just be cautious as it is steep!! Great place we enjoyed!

Great, comfortable stay in the middle of the city

Great comfortable stay, we had four people and the apartment was just nice for us. The space at the attic was slightly small but posed no problems for us as we only stayed for a night. The apartment was very clean and modern. Also located in the middle of the city so was perfect to walk everywhere. Overall great stay and would recommend.

Great location and decent apartment. A couple of things were broken and there were no bath towels (had to call the property manager to find one in the pull out bed) and no bathroom amenities (soap, shampoo, etc.)

Its location in the downtown and its proximity to the airport are a plus. The place is very neat/clean. ------ I was a little disappointed that no toiletries like bath soap and shampoo were available. Responses to inquiries were a bit slow to none.

Good but very thin walls

Nice appartment with high quality. However, the appartment as very thin walls so you can hear everything from the street outside and the appartment next door. When someone walks around in the appartment next door the whole house was shaking and it sounded like they were in our appartment.

Great Space!

The property was very easy to find with the provided instructions/photos. We used the paid parking lot across the street (it's free after 4 PM). The apartment was very spacious with lots of natural light. It was comfortable and very clean, and centrally located to several restaurants and attractions. We booked the apartment to do laundry during our 2-week trip. Being from the States, we had a hard tine figuring out how to use the washer/dryer combo, and ended up just hanging our clothes to dry (which ultimately took a couple days). My only suggestion would be to maybe have brief instructions available for foreigners that aren't used to a washer/dryer combo. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

This place was amazing. We were arriving late and I called (the phone numbers on google, website and expedia for here should be upgraded but that's minor. A guy named Gudbjorn answered. I wasn't receiving his emails for the check in instructions (due to an issue with my email). He was so patient and eventually sent me a text with all the info. He was amazing (thank you). Central apartment

The apartment was lovely, if a bit noisy. Communication was very bad, received instructions which were out of date. Didnt have access code to get in. Number i had was for previous owners. Met some other guests who had the same issue. The listing suggests there is parking with the apartment- not the case. Recent changes mean parking is charged for between 10am and 4pm. Access to street outside of apartment is restricted through the day. There is a car park through the alley access, which is very close but has to be paid for. Free parking is available at the Hof which is a few minutes walk away. Very happy with location, near all the main sites - whale watching, the church, shops and botanical gardens. Enjoyed the stay once the chaos was sorted. I would say the loft"bedroom" is only suitable for older children.
