"We loved the Platinum Hotel, convenient, clean and very friendly. The Omani lady at the reception was so kind! We arrived at 5.30 am and the reception was open! We loved the rooftop swimming pool to chill out. We weren’t expecting it to be so nice! "

"Nice, clean hotel in Muscat. The rooms are very spacious. Beds were a bit hard and pillows not great, but overall a good sleep. The shower and tub/shower both didn't have shower curtains so the floor got wet. There were no face cloths, but they had shampoo & body wash. There were 2 bottles of water per day in your room along with a kettle to make coffee or tea (provided). The "balcony" is fully fenced with 2 windows that open slightly, not a lot of natural light in the room. There is a couch...

"Worst hotel ive been in Oman. Toilet doesnt flush. No water in the faucet. Room is old. The reception area is dim and not all lights are opened. When we checked the pool it looks dirty and not appealing as others come there for swimming lessons. The whole hotel looks really old and definitely needs to be renovated all of it. Never coming back there ever again. We paid for 2nights but since it is realy bad we stayed for 1night and left. Terrible terrible terrible!"
