Ideally located, you are invited to this Petoskey Michigan lakefront chalet family vacation rental of unmatched beauty and unrivaled seasonal activities. This Chalet offers year attractions including water sports steps from your door, great snowmobiling to miles of trails, skiing, golfing and absolutely gorgeous views of the lake.

With all the area has to offer with its unique shops, boutiques and art galleries located in Petoskey's Gas Light District and Harbor Springs, shopping should definitely be on you list of things to do. You may also want to see if Lady Luck is with you at the Odawa Casino in town.

The shared resort offers 450 feet of waterfront access, with a one-of-a-kind shallow, hard bottom, sandy beach that stretches out at least 300 ft., with only waist deep water. This combination of beach and park-like atmosphere makes this location the most desirable on Crooked Lake. The CIRCULAR STAIRCASE leads to the two bedrooms on the second floor. Two bedrooms on the lower lever. Sorry. NO pets allowed.

The park-like property also features a private marina, with two slips available for your water crafts of up to 26 feet. Also included is a volleyball court, horseshoe pit, multiple fire pits and most of all, a tranquil setting for relaxing on a wooden swing, to watch the boats go by, read a novel or watch the fantastic sunrises or sunsets from the point.

From the lake, you can cruise the famous and historic inland waterway. It starts on Crooked Lake, goes to Burt Lake to Mullett Lake, then out to Lake Huron! There are two marinas located within 2 miles for your watercraft rental needs.

Fall is a special time of year when the trees come alive with vibrant colors. Many areas to view the color changes are great, but there is nothing as commanding as the Tunnel of Trees, along the shore of Lake Michigan. This area is just north of Harbor Springs about 20 minutes from your Petoskey Waterfront Rental.

Skiing and snowmobiling makes this the Midwest's Premier Winter Destination, with trails just waiting to be ridden. The ski resorts of Boyne Highlands and Nubs Nob are only about 10 minutes from your chalet. The snowmobile trails are right out your door! Ice skating, sledding sleigh rides and ice fishing are also just a sampling of what is in store for you during your dream vacation.

Spring time bring out colorful blooms and the 21 championship golf courses open for the avid golfer, which are all within 25 miles of the resort. Hikers will also enjoy this time of the year, for its many trails and paths are waiting to be explored once again. Do not forget to visit the mighty Mackinaw Bridge and Island. Great Chalet for Families
This chalet is the gem of the resort. A great place to rent if you have kids. Many great things to do nearby and tons of amenities. Beautiful sandy, shallow beach with tons of sand to play in. Very helpful owner and a great rental expirence.

This was a beautiful property that was well located in the middle of many of the area's popular attractions. This is a beautiful area in the fall, and it's perfect to come back to a fire on the private beach. The balcony that overseas the lake that is attached to one of the bedrooms, is amazing to lay out on at night time and watch the stars. I would recommend this place a 100%

Amazing property
This was one of our best stays. We came to celebrate my moms 80th birthday and for a quick weekend getaway this was just what we wanted. The house was beautiful and fully equipped with all modern amenities. The beds were super comfy and we all had a blast. It did rain but staying inside and playing games made it such a great getaway and the town for shopping was super close. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back. Thanks Jim for a wonderful place to stay

Great Vacation spot
Great place to relax and right on the lake for easy access. Our family enjoyed the closeness of Petosky for driving and other area activities. The chalet was well equipped. The spiral staircase was a little narrow but we managed. Nice place to get away from it all but still had activities within an hours drive

Beautiful Lakeside Home
We had an amazing time here. We went snowboarding and the mountain was a short 10 minute drive. The house was clean, comfortable and the kids loved the fact that it was "a triangle house." We plan on coming back in the summer!

Beautiful setting, walkout to the beach was the best part! We had a great time spent as a family!! We used the basketball court to play many hours of four square. So many laughs! We had a bon fire almost every night! Nice that tge house was so close to Petoskey. We all throughly enjoyed ourselves!!

Good beach!
Nicely equipped and located (a few minutes to Petosky). Loved having the beach out the front door and a place to fish for the kids. Next summer we will look for a cottage a little bigger with bigger beds for our family of 9. Although the picture and description lets you think the beachfront is yours, you are actually sharing it with four other cottages.

Lakefront Chalet in MI
We stayed for three nights between Chistmas and New Years. Although we didn't get to enjoy the beach & lake because of the season, (they look great though!) the house was very nice, clean, well maintained, and had all the ammenities for a cozy stay. The upstairs is particularly spacious and attractive. It is well located - within 20 minutes of the ski hills and downtown Petoskey. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again.

Exceeds expectations!
We enjoyed this property and our vacation so much . This house is so well equipped down to the last marshmallow roasting fork that we didn’t need to purchase anything extra. We had a beach out our front door that our 3 year old granddaughter enjoyed everyday. We enjoyed watching her from the covered deck and ate all our meals on the deck picnic table. The house was immaculate and it was great to have the stackable washer dryer in the house. The other cottages owners and vacationers were so nice also!

Charming home in beautiful location
Kitchen is newly remodeled. Location right on the lake is beautiful and was convenient to skiing at Boyne Highlands and Petoskey/Harbor Springs for restaurants. It was clean overall. Beds were a bit small, but we knew they were doubles, so I expected that. Comforters needed updated. Overall a pleasant stay for our group of 4 adults and 4 children.

Doesn't get any better!
We have rented this place for 8 consecutive years and enjoy it more every year! Great location and amenities. New this year, just across the street, is access is to a 32 mile long walking, jogging, biking trail which adds to the already many activities to do in the area. The boat slip is a plus for boat owners. The chalet is clean, modern and very comfortable. No matter what your interests are there is something for people of all ages to enjoy here whether it be swimming, boating, fishing, golfing, biking, shopping, sightseeing or just plain wiggling your toes in the sandy beach. It doesn't get any better than this!

Exactly as presented in the description.
We loved it; we were on the beach of an inland lake, with everything needed for a relaxing vacation. Bedrooms & baths were more than adequate, with plenty of extra towels. Our adult children and families were very comfortable playing volleyball and "horse", football in the lake and just hanging out on the beach. We had kayaks and paddle boards delivered; two of our kids road their bikes, on the nearby paved path, into town to play tennis. Petoskey, with grocery stores and restaurants, was just a short drive away, through, we grilled out most nights. Perfectly restful!

Family Getaway
This property was exactly what we were hoping for. Lots of great outdoor space and right on the water. There were enough bedrooms for the everyone to have their own space. The location was super convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. The washer/dryer was a big plus as well!!! James was responsive when we had questions leading up to and during the stay. We were a little surprised by the number of bugs inside the home, but that is to be expected to some extent when you are on the water like this. There are also neighbors on the shared grounds and not a lot of guidance about community guidelines with some playing basketball right outside at midnight, chairs being taken off the deck for campfires by others, and trash being left on the beach. Not dealbreakers by any means, but some community guidelines would be helpful. We will definitely be trying to book with James again in the future!

Beautiful but Busy noisy traffic
Property manager, Jim, was available to answer our call the moment we arrived when we discovered unmade beds. The matter was attended to promptly that evening. The setting was absolutely gorgeous and we especially enjoyed the 2nd floor deck, the beach, and the basket to shoot the basketball. A hard thing to ignore was no AC with 90 degree day temperatures. Trying to sleep was brutal, even with fans that we brought ourselves. Also, the highway noise interfered w/the serenity of the setting. Again, the setting (view and cottage) was wonderful, but very difficult to enjoy fully due to no AC and loud traffic noise. Prime location for easy drive to Harbor Springs and Petoskey! Thankful for an overall memorable time!

Perfect Beachfront Vacation
This was our first significant family vacation since our youngest was born one year ago and this property exceeded our expectations. The house wasn't necessarily toddler friendly (most homes are not), but we made it work. Stairs were a bit concerning, but our 2.5 year old learned them quickly, and our concerns went away. It was nice having the two rooms upstairs so adults could hang out downstairs during nap and bed time without fear of waking them up. Great view of the water from one room upstairs and one on the main floor. The beach alone will bring us back to this property in the future, it is amazing and very well kept. We spent a few hours before the boys took a nap and a fews hours after their nap on the sandy beachfront. Being so close to the sand made our life real easy to mange the two little ones with the numerous toys. The water was warm with a shallow, sandy bottom which goes out a long way. Our baby monitor even worked from the fire pit for some late night or mid day relaxation on the beach. The bike path is across the main street, a bit tricky to cross, but worth it for a bike ride into Alanson a few miles to the East and the Petoskey Brewery about 5 miles to the West and Downton Petoskey a few miles farther. The house is well maintained inside and out allowing us to feel very comfortable the the entire seven night stay. Don't plan on using the wifi, but we didn't plan to use it anyway, so no harm done. Weber charcoal grill made for some great meals. Would stay at this property again in the future.

Perfect place for us to stay!
We had a fantastic stay at this lake house! The property was clean, spacious, and exactly as described. The views of the lake were stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset—truly picture-perfect. The house itself was well-stocked with all the essentials, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like board games, extra blankets, and a fully equipped kitchen. The outdoor seating areas were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Communication with the host was seamless, and they were quick to respond to any questions. We had an incredibly relaxing and memorable stay and would love to return in the future. Highly recommend this spot for a quiet, lakefront getaway!
