"Lovely little place, very friendly and extremely helpful staff, mostly Spanish custom, I think I only spoke to one other British visitor in the whole fortnight! Big Carp in the lake if you're into fishing, only problem being the access needs making a bit more disabled friendly. Could do with a bit more choice on the menu, but what there was, was very nice."

There is a dog shelter up on the hill behind house that can generate a little noise first thing in the morning (assuming feeding time!) but nothing that should put you off staying in this beautiful and fantastically equipped home"

"There were so many places for the various members of the family to relax in, and also plenty of large places for us all to gather together in. The covered pool was fabulous. "We couldn't have asked for a lovelier vacation in Spain. Henri, Inge and Flynn greeted us. They stayed in contact throughout the trip, checking to be sure all was well and that we were enjoying our stay. The villa was immaculate with so much style. The grounds were well kept and had lots of special areas to coalesce and enjoy the beautiful landscaping. We'll be back! Thank you, Henri and Inge, for a special time in Spain we'll never forget."

"Lovely villa with absolutely stunning views. If you are looking for scenery and alot less people then this is the place for you. Definately need a car. Valencia beach, which is also amazing is about 1 hour again but there is a lovely lake nearby to also swim in. If you like hustle amd bustle not the place for you but if chilaxing is your thing, stock up at the supermarket and enjoy the place."

"We had a good stay, it was quiet and relaxing. There were a couple of things damaged from the previous tenant which wasn't a great impression. The lock on the door broke which meant extra vigilance was needed to avoid getting locked in or out, and the pool was not clear which we pointed out within 5 minutes of our arrival, Claire was responsive but it still took 3 days until the pool guy put something in the pool specifically to clear it. I just put it down to bad luck but I was on holiday...

Peaceful few days

"Top host, very friendly & provided us a lovely carafe of sangria on our arrival & very flexible with our arrival & check out. Fabulous stay

"The check in was fabulous and we had a lovely room (Room 1) that actually has a kettle! We had a terrace with views of Xativa Castle and also the town and valley, all framed by pine and cypress trees. Deb had injured her knee so was able to sit on the terrace, read her book and chill as we watched the sunset. We had breakfast both mornings at the hotel and the breakfast was fabulous and we ate far too much delicious food. After breakfast I had a wander around the grounds. The views really were spectacular, especially with the early morning mist, and you could see sections of the town walls stretching from the valley up to the castle. We ate one dinner in the hotel as Deb had already perused the menu, although I was somewhat sceptical. There were weird things like sea urchin, pig's ear, lamb gizzards and duck liver but I opted for sea bass and Deb had rabbit lasagna. The food was just magnificent. Right from the bread and olive oil, with the type of oil and its characteristics being explained to the main course and desserts there was nothing I could improve upon. I had two desserts - a cheesecake and a hazelnut mousse and both were fabulous. We left feeling full but not bloated, a lovely way to round off Deb's birthday. Our room was fabulously quiet, service throughout the hotel was impeccable, the room had modern heating/cooling if needed and a modern bathroom. There was a lovely seating area with panoramic views as well as a private terrace and there was plenty of pa"

"La Galiana is a place I will return; I truly enjoyed the view, the accommodations, and the spa. The staff was very friendly, from the front desk team, Olga y Francisco, the service staff at the restaurant everyone was very professional and cordial. My only subjection was that the bar should have wine bottles saves pumps to keep bottles fresher once the bottle is open, but overall it was a great experience and the golf course, the pro Pedro, and the team at the club house were friendly and accommodating. I hope to return soon. Julian USA "
