"In a beautiful location. Couldn't get any warm water in kitchen sink, water pressure low in showers but at least had hot water. Could have used a few more cooking utensils and some hot pads to remove items from oven. Washed dishes in dishwasher but not sure if the water ever got hot."

"5th time staying at this gem. Wildlife in abundance. There must have been a dozen wild turkeys wandering around the property. Blue Heron, Canada Geese, woodpeckers and more. Oh, flannel sheets, so comfy. "

"This two bedroom house felt roomy and truly had everything inside you could possibly need. It was clean and cozy, and we knew the owners were close by should we need anything, but we did not. It is located on a VERY busy and often times noisy street, which meant it was difficult to get in and out of the driveway at various times throughout our stay. "Great location as we came down for OSU parents weekend. Loved having space for our golden retriever and being able to make own meals rather than staying in a hotel. Beautiful property and loved the water feature outside the living room windows. "

Quiet room?

"The room had a very odd arrangement with a VERY wide door into the toilet/shower area. The door was right where the most traffic for the room was, so it was rather 'in the way'. (we were in room 411). I had asked for a quiet room, and although the room was rather far down the hall, away from the elevator traffic (which was good), the window also faced the busy street, so there was quite a bit of noise from the street... maybe the young clerk didn't take that into consideration when selecting a 'quiet room'.... But since it was just for an overnight, it wasn't a big deal. Luckily the hum from the heater/A/C was enough to drown out any of the street noise...."

The staff was always so friendly & helpful. The housekeeping service did a great job making sure our room was clean & fresh with new linens & towels. The pool, hot tub and fitness room were a great addition, as well as laundry facilities. The hotel was a convenient walk across the street to Denny's restaurant/bar, which was great for dinner & drinks. I definitely would recommend this hotel, worth every penny. "
