Comfortable stop over on my way to Sydney. Rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. Close to the city centre. Only downside was the lack of restaurant on Sunday evening

Stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom, kitchen, which is great to have this part of a hotel with restaurant, pool, etc. walking distance to parks, pool, botanic gardens and shops. Restaurant food was nice, just a little expensive. Service in restaurant and bar exceptional. Parking easy.

Always a pleasant stay

As always, clean and comfortable room and friendly staff. We use this Best Western whenever we pass through Albury. This time we did need to ask a staff person to come and clean the balcony table but that was done promptly and with good grace. We never have any complaints.

I've stayed at Best Western Plus Hovell Tree Inn several times and have always been impressed with the cleanliness and layout of the rooms. I nice and warm (in Dec/Jan) pool area near the reception area and spacious rooms.

The room was nice and clean. The size of the room was generous, not like a city hotel. The Spa suite was recently renovated. The Nespresso machine was great! A little road noise outside, but in the evenings it was quiet. There is a lovely park/ river across the road. Lovely spot.

We arrived at 5:50pm on a Sunday, having contacted reception by phone, because reception closes at 6:00pm on a Sunday. In our room: 1. There was only half a roll of toilet paper and because it was after 6pm, reception was closed; 2. The room lighting was inadequate. It was very dark, particularly (but not only) over the kitchenette area; 3. When we arrived, the room was very cold. After a while the heating worked, but why couldn’t this have been turned on after we rang? 4. The bathroom had no heating at all. On the positive side: 1. We had requested a fragrance free room, and this was provided; 2. Location was very good; 3. Room was a good size; 4. Power points well located; 5. Housekeeping staff were helpful and friendly; 6. There were biscuits with tea & coffee…thanks; 7. Undercover parking very good.
