"Very nice stay! It's ten minutes from Retiro by metro which was nice. Got to know the residential side of Madrid a little bit. Check-in was easy. The apartment is on the first floor so you do hear people walking on the streets. That didn't bother us but is something to consider for future guests. Loved having the coffee machine."

While we definitely enjoyed our stay, here are the summary points (both good and needing improvement): Pros: Location is great; flat is very spacious; bathrooms were both clean and large; flat was very quiet despite being on the busiest street in Madrid; Challenges: communication was poor...ask several questions and then delayed response to one question; too difficult to find blankets; unable to access HVAC due to no remotes; wifi access instructions...
