"Our stay in Batalha could have started out poorly as William notified us the night before our arrival that our reservation had not recorded properly, and there was no availability for our first night. He quickly made the situation right by finding us a great hotel in town for the first night. Olive Hill is as nice as it looks in the photos, and clearly William is cut out for his second career in hospitality. We’d definitely stay there again."

"The property was even better than expected, very spacious and well appointed kitchen, and the views spectacular! The short but steep walk down to the beach was excellent challenge to the fitness of the older members of the party. The heated pool was brilliant and compensated for the cooler misty air - this improved by mid afternoon and we enjoyed a couple of splendid sunsets. "

"The front desk staffer couldn’t have been more lovely! She gave us several dinner recommendations for restaurants open in the off-season and took us to park our car so we wouldn’t have any issues finding the place. Excellent value for money with a spacious room, everything brand new and an impressive upgrade. Would stay here again any time. "

"We absolutely LOVED our stay here. Elenisia was so friendly and helpful. She remembered our names and is just a lovely person! Our room was very comfortable and we were able to sit in the bar area to have a picnic and play cards. Definitely will stay there again! Oh and the buffet breakfast was delicious!"
