Nice place cool town.
Place was nice, had dark shutter/blinds. Large kitchen with 2 bathrooms. Had a washer and a nice outdoor deck. Had a dishwasher and kitchen utensils. There was AC unit though we didn't use much. There is a pool, ambient temperature. We walked to town center regularly and to the beach. Took day trips to various tourist areas.

The apartment was perfect for our stay. In a quiet area close to downtown. Many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The apartment is spacious, clean and well equipped. Nicola was waiting for us upon arrival and responded immediately to a couple of questions we had. Highly recommend this apartment.

However, we did book this place over similar apartments with lower prices based on the listing citing a heated pool. Upon check in we were told the pool was actually "ambient" temperature- so not heated. So a nice place, but we were expecting the amenity described.

We booked because it had a/c and days before we leave we get an email saying it did not work so we get there and someone comes to look at it and we find out it had been broken for months apparently so we were not this when we booked in the beginning but over all place was very clean lady that greets you very sweet nice pool over all an ok place

Good space
It was nice to be met to walk through the property upon arrival. Unfortunately the air conditioning was out while we were there. Thankfully there was a very pleasant breeze for the most time. Other times, it was hot! The location was not what it appeared to be from the map. I thought it was a quick walk to the beach front. But that wasn’t the case. We did take advantage of the elevator that brought us down to the Tourist office. That was convenient. And interesting to explore the old town up there. The place was clean and very roomy. We enjoyed having the doors and breeze open. It was convenient to do some laundry during this stop.

Such a fun town. Kevin was great with communication prior to check in. Only drawback was that the air conditioning wasn't working and that wasn't disclosed to us until checkin, hense the 3* on description. Nicola, the property mgr. was great to accommodate with fans. Location was wonderful, quiet neighborhood, close to large grocery store and an easy 10 minute walk to the boardwalk with restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay there again.

This condo was spacious and comfortable. The appliances were wonderful although it took some time to figure out how to use (washer and oven) without manuals or instructions but we did it! There were plenty of linens and the kitchen was well equipped. The area is quiet and lovely -close to grocery and bakeries and restaurants. Short walk to the beach helps wear off the wonderful food. We also enjoyed dining on the spacious balcony. The lounge chairs were great to soak up the morning sun.

This is a great apartment in a great location - comfortable beds, plenty of linens and a kitchen that provides everything for home cooking. From the first communication to the last, this was a most enjoyable stay at a beautiful property in Sao Martino. The property is excellent and a great value for anyone wanting to explore this beautiful seaside town or the surrounding area. Nazare, Fatima, Obidos are all short drives away. We really enjoyed Sao Martinho do Porto and this is a great place to stay to enjoy it. Neighborhood restaurants nearby, takeout Portuguese chicken, and a supermarket 2-3 blocks away for snacks or more. Mark is a gracious host, too. Any time I return I’ll look to stay again. And it really is as pretty as the pictures portray.

Wish we had stayed longer
This property was very spacious and comfortable. It has a large balcony, underground parking, swimming pool and all the amenities of home. Close to the property is a fresh fruit, vegetables and fish market and a great chicken(frango) take out restaurant. The property is about an 8-minute walk to the beautiful calm horseshoe shaped beach. Surrounding the beach there are many cafes and restaurants. The best is Kinara, Portobello, A Nova Gaivota and for sweets Gelatomania. The location was also close to many points of interest to discover. It was great to come home to after touring and beaching all day.

Lovely apartment
The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. There was a lack of information on handover regarding the appliances and what to do about the general rubbish. The swimming pool was not heated as advertised, this was a great disappointment and one of the reasons we booked the apartment. The location was good, a short walk to the town centre and beach. Good cafes nearby and whilst parking was provided in the underground parking we did not near to use it as there was always space on the street outside the apartment. The only other negative was the settees which are definitely past their best and really need to be replaced. The beds are comfortable, the blinds a great asset to allow a lie in and the block is generally nice and quiet.

Great apartment, great town
We really enjoyed our stay in Kevin's apartment. The directions to the apartment seemed a touch out of date but it's easy enough to find - it's right across the road from the Hotel Santo Antonio Da Baia (where my parents enjoyed their stay which overlapped with ours!) on the rua Comandante Alves. The apartment was spotless and ideal for us as a family of four including two young children. Kitchen was well equipped, allowing us to cook properly a few nights. The bathrooms functioned well. The beds were very comfortable. The sofas let this apartment down a little - they were peeling and shed flakes of whatever they were made of all over the floor constantly. I can't see any way of solving the problem other than replacing them (the throws on them were not a suitable solution!). TV/DVD worked, though we didn't really use it, and we were so pleased to have wifi available for our stay - thank you! The balcony faces east, so you get the morning sun, bu unfortunately the sun often doesn't break through till a little later in the day in SMP so not so many breakfasts in the sun as we'd envisaged! We used the air con a couple of times, but usually not really needed. Pool area was great and common stair was kept very clean. Nicola the agent was also very helpful throughout our stay. The location of the apartment is ideal for anything - a short walk to the beach either by the main road or via the charming older part of town and lift down to the front. The market is a few minutes' walk away and likewise the big Intermarche supermarket and a mini-market in the old town. There are also bakeries and cafes really close by, as well as all the amentities of the town down by the beach - we went back and forth usually a couple of times a day. The beach is fab, and the town is really lovely for a slightly different beach holiday or as a base for exploring. We particularly enjoyed visiting Obidos and the beach at Foz do Arelho. Highly recommend!
