"This property is the iconic Swiss hotel with friendly staff and spectacular views. Our room was on the lowest floor but still had a Mountain View. However, it shared a public terrace instead of a private terrace, which was the case of the upper floors. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay very much. "

"This hotel would get 5 stars just for the view from the balcony! Add to that the fact that the rooms are super clean, the staff is so helpful and friendly (shout out to the desk manager who solved our problem of a broken off cork inside a bottle of wine!) and it just couldn't be better. The breakfasts at the property are a MUST. Fresh, local breads and dozens of options from overnight oats to cold cuts, cheeses, toasts, softboiled and hardboiled eggs, jams, honey, Nutella, everything! The fondue we had (traditional) at the hotel for dinner on day 2 was superb as well. Is it an uphill walk from the train station in Wengen? Yes. But you're in the Alps, right? And they have a shuttle to help if you speak to them. I can't wait for our next trip back and a chance to stay there again!"
