"There are only 19 rooms in this lovely historic Boutique Hotel. The beds are comfortable, the linens and towels are high end and the rooms and bathrooms are spacious even in the “Small Room for 2”. The Staff is friendly and professional and treat you like royalty. You are greeted with a free Portuguese drink on arrival. The onsite Bar and Restaurant are wonderful and reasonably priced. We can’t say enough great things about this hotel. We were able to walk to anywhere if you can take all the hills and valley in Lisbon but also Uber when you get tired at a very reasonable price. Thank you Staff for a beautiful stay!"

"The staff was super friendly and made some great recommendations for us for dining. I have to say after reading some of the bad reviews I was a bit worried about staying there. However, the room was quiet and all the staff including cleaning staff were lovely people. I would stay here again as it is the perfect location for Lisbon. Next door is a great fado restaurant. It’s across the street from the St George Cadethral and 5’minites from the castle. "
