"I had a great staying at Hotel Santo Stefano. The staff is absolutely wonderful; I travelled by public transport and they came to pick me up and take me back to the bus stop. The rooms are very spacious and confortable. The hotel has got a restaurant which is very handy when you have spent a day at the Archive and you are too tired to go out. "Lovely stay with beautiful breakfast. The restaurant was booked out when we stayed which wasn’t great because there was nowhere else to eat in the town. Free and easy parking! "

"We had a lovely holiday, the villa had lots of room and the pool was fantastic. Couple of places to have meals and kitchen was good. Interesting area, went to Cortona, Assisi and Arezzo. Also a concert in the village of Anghiari which was magical. Only slight negative, having to buy bottled water. Caroline"

"This is an absolutely private place in the Tuscany’s hills. You can relax all day, but if you want the hustle and bustle of the city, Arezzo is the nearest big city (Siena 1.5 hours by car). There are several restaurants to choose nerby. A major shopping centre is 20-30 minutes away. The house is typical Tuscan style and well equipped, energy consumption needs attention but we had no problem. The big pool was our favourite, we spent almost the whole day there, there’s not much else to do on a hot summer day. We recommend the place for those who prefer relaxation and retreat."

"Such a beautiful and authentic villa. A setting no less than perfect for a proper stay in the Italian country side. Just a 10-minute walk from Stia and yet fully private. Lucia was the perfect host - always willing and able to help with any questions we had. We've been spending holidays in Italy for near on 20 years, always agri turismo and this place is up there among the very best. Five-star ratings from me are few and far between, but Lucia and her place definitely earns all five stars."
