"The room was a fair size. It was rather hot but you can turn the radiator off. It is on a main road and there is a lot of traffic noise. But it is nice and clean and the staff are helpful. They did us bacon sandwiches to go instead of having to sit down for breakfast. "

"White Horses is one of those gems. You know you're somewhere special when you notice the little things someone has prepared for you. Personal notes written to you, strawberries and raspberries in the room. A panoramic view that takes your breath away. The staff are amazing too. So friendly, interested and amazing. If you want to feel special, stay at the White Horses!!!"

"Stay for one night.Lovely property,with character.Very friendly staff.Rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade,but then our stay was cheap so didn't mind . Delicious breakfast in morning £12.50 each ,that was for full english and anything on the Continental menu with tea/coffee and juice.Thank you very much roebuck, definitely come back again "

"A lovely stay at a very nice hotel. The room was great, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the lounge etc are just wonderful. Breakfast was generous and made with excellent ingredients For some reason the whole building is really warm - which will be good for some people and less so for others - but that aside I wouldn’t change a thing."

"It was comfortable & room quiet after a long drive. service was reasonable considering the staff were stretched during an afternoon party. People were generally pleasant and did well. Pity no food on offer on a Sunday night but since it was a central location there was plenty on offer locally."

"Cleverly decorated with good supplies (apart from drinkable tap water). It was cosy and well heated, which was just as well as the shower was rubbish (freezing cold with low pressure) and the room is separate to the hotel - the door opens directly onto the carpark "

"Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, rooms were clean and a good size, and perfect location for a couple of nights away."

"The room was very nice with continental breakfast for one day trip. The only issue was parking in the street for only 2hrs until 6pm. This would have been a bigger issue if we were there longer."

"Was a last kinute new years eve stay over in Brighton, and we couldnt have been happier. Central location with access to the lanes, Pavillion, mall, and pier within a few minutes walk. Parking in Brighton is never enjoyable, so we parked uo outside of the city and travelled in by bus. The hotel benefitted from a small outdoor space, an effective kitchen/dining area for two people, decent shower, and a comfortable bed. "

"Fantastic service and very friendly staff. We were really well looked after. There were always staff available in the bar/ eatery asking if we needed anything - rare ( but very welcome in these days of minimal staffing). Nothing was too much trouble! A delightful stay in a great location "

Leonardo Royal Hotel Brighton Waterfront

"Located in the heart of Brighton’s bar, restaurant and arts centre, this hotel is a great mix of ‘old’ and ‘new’ and an overall great spot. We used the gym/spa facilities and although they are small, they are functionally great for what we needed. The staff are lovely and helpful and I would recommend the Leonardo to anyone looking for a nice getaway. I would, however, warn that the parking is quite expensive but.i guess that’s an understandable cost for the convenience."
