"This is a great place to stay in Algiers. Very central, only a 5 min walk to the Casbah and two metro stations, and about a 20 minute walk from the airport train. The breakfast is especially good, sets you up for the day. Room small but has everything you need. Internet doesn’t extend to all floors but there’s a little room on the first floor where you can work if you need to. There’s a mini mart and money changers at the bottom. Staff were great, really welcoming & friendly. Recommended. "

"An older property that's well maintained, the El Aurassi has unparalleled views of the harbor and city. Staff are attentive, multi-lingual and food is good. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff stopped by throughout the day to refresh supplies. Shower is an inconvenient setup that allows water to pool on floor. Would definitely stay longer next time."

"Would highly recommend this hotel with a fantastic management and staff. The breakfast is included with all the bookings . The lunch and dinner available à la carte so you don’t need to worry about feeding yourself and or family, as it has a restaurant just at the basement. Myself and my daughter came here for Business which is. Great Location as well, and It’s actually not too far from Algiers city centre and Neither from touristic sites in Tipaza county . "

"I’m really surprised that this is a 4 stars hotel, it needs a lot of improvement, also the stuff needs a training. I waited 2 hours to do the check in, the first room was depressing I asked to change it, after a long negotiation they gave me another one, I went to their restaurant on the beach to have a drink and chill while they prepared the room, the service there was even worse, I waited 30 minutes for just a lemon juice and it was so bad, then I asked for an orange juice, when I complained...

"Despite service in the restaurant is excellent and the rest of the staff in the hotel are very good. Unfortunately the manners and overall attitud of the reception staff at a recent check in and check out... very noon welcoming language, rude and obnoxious behaviour. Our suggestion... lots and lots of training!!!"
