Hotell Sidi San Juan

Hotellet er i utgangspunktet ett 5 stjernes, men i min mening sÄ havner det pÄ toppen 4. Synes prisen er alt for stiv i forrhold til det man fikk igjen for pengene. Beligenheten er dÄrlig med tanke pÄ soling, vi var der i mitten av oktober og da hadde vi ca 4 soltimer mot hotellets framside. Er vell mere idielt mittsommers. Stranden var 40m fra hotellet og ren Ä fin. Som sagt et litt slitent hotell, hÞy pris men kan anbefales hvis du ikke er ute etter sÄ mye valutta for pengene. Internett kostet 12 euro per dag, men det sÄr en pc i reseption som kan brukes fritt.

Meget bra hotell med hyggelig betjening ,god service Utsikt og kort vei til fantastisk bra strand Rommet er ikke nodvendigvis fem-stjernes men bra. Hage,anlegg,strand, og maten (frokost,lunjs) er 5 stj. barnevennlig, kort vei til sentrum

couple stars too many

I was told that Sidi San Juan is definitely the best hotel in the area, and the only 5-star one. Well, this may well be true but it does not make the hotel good. It is quite run down and in urgent need of a full-scale renovation. My sense is that this pending closing of the property weighs on its staff moral as they do not much care at best... The access to the beach and the beach itself are very good - the highlight of my stay there. The hotel is located about 20-min walk from the more central area of town where most restaurants and nightlife is concentrated. I quite enjoyed walking back anf forth along the sea shore but some people may find this inconvenient.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand! Unvergleichliche Lage. Das beste Hotel von Alicante fĂŒr uns.

Die unvergleichliche Lage direkt am Strand ist unbezahlbar. Die Zimmer waren sehr angenehm, der Balkon abends die Wucht, morgens allerdings sehr heiß, da direkte Sonneneinstrahlung. Zimmerservice exzellent und sehr schnell. Der Service an der Rezeption zu jeder Tages- und Nachzeit sehr freundlich, kompetent und schnell! Wir kommen gerne wieder. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

fabulous seaviews but dated decor

Sidi Hotel has a priviledged location as a beach resort with direct access to the beach. The seaview from the pool is great and we loved the seaview from our little room terrace (all rooms have seaview). Breakfast was a delicious buffett in a lovely terrace and staff were friendly. The gym albeit small was perfectly funtional .It was nice to also have the option of an indoor pool as the outdoor one was quite small. The main disappointment was the room decor which was dated and tired. Probably when the hotel first open its doors the rooms had a classic and sumptuous air however after years of wear and tear really needs updating. Rooms definately not five stars hotel, possibly four. For a young childless couple we would have preferred something a bit more fresh and contemporaneous looking. In addition to the price paid, we were surprised by all of the extras that were not included (which we expected a five stars hotel to include in the price) like towel service, car park, use of the safe. All in all, I enjoyed a few days of relaxation, it was a quiet athmosphere (mainly over 50's) and a few families with young children and loved the view. If you can bear the dated decor for a great view, great beach and quiet athmospehre then this hotel is the one.

Hotel Sidi San Juan

The Hotel Sidi San Juan is about 25 mins taxi drive from the airport and looks over the Playa de San Juan. Location-wise, the Hotel is set near the end of Playa de San Juan beach which wasn't particularly overcrowded. The beach is access via the Hotel's pool and is very convenient if you need to pop back to your room for supplies. There are a few restaurants near the hotel, but far more if you walk further along the beach towards the centre of the bay. The Hotel itself has very beautiful, and well-kept grounds, as well as having an impressive reception and lobby. The room we stayed in however was just standard- it was clean but the decor was relatively basic. I would say that the room we stayed in was about 3 stars whilst the rest of the hotel was 3.5 - 4 stars. Breakfast was included in our package, and there was a wide range of options to choose from at the buffet. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. On the whole, our stay at the Hotel Sidi San Juan was extremely good value for money and I would recommend it as a very nice hotel to stay in.

Everything was perfect. The only thing is the price. Although breakfast is expensive, it is worth it. The only thing is the barprices. 22€ for 1 liter of (bad) sangria is horrible expensive. A beer for €5 is not cheap either. Outrages expensive prices down at the pool and bar area as well.

Bre hotell. Hade de haft bÀttre sÀngar hade det varit i klass med 4-5 stjÀrnors affÀrhotell. Lite typiska hÄrda sÀngar som vid turistcahrter. Detta Àr stort minus! I övrigt var allt annat riktigt bra. Fria handukra vid strand och pool. Bra frukost. Unvik dock pool-restaurangen. Maten var inte sÄ bra, trots priset. Det Àr en bit till Alicante stad. Tenissen kostar ca 30 euro med bollar och rack, kassskÄk 3.5 EUro naten. I övrigt inga surprises i extraavgifter. Rekommenderar hotellet för avkoppling.

Sidi San Juan Hotel

Perfekt lÀge pÄ en av de bÀsta (?) strÀnderna i Spanien! Hotellet Àr stort och lyxigt med trevlig personal. Inredningen i baren/loungen Àr lite "tacky" men bekvÀm. Trevligt poolomrÄde (om man vill slippa försÀljarna pÄ stranden) med bÄde ute- och inomhuspool. Fantastiskt fin och vÀlskött trÀdgÄrd runt hotellet. Den italienska restaurangen som ligger bredvid hotellet rekommenderas. PÄ andra sidan gatan frÄn den ligger ett litet snabbköp dÀr man kan handla mat och annat (vi handlade frukost dÀr och sparade in pÄ den dyra hotellfrukosten). Buss (nr 22) in till/frÄn stan gÄr ofta och tar ca 15 min och kostar 1,20 euro. Man kan Àven Äka spÄrvagn. Taxi frÄn flygplatsen kostade 40 euro (han tog motorvÀgen) och till flygplatsen 25 euro (han Äkte genom stan). HotellsÀngarna var lite för hÄrda för min smak. VÀldigt bra vattentryck i duschen och skönt badkar! DÄligt dock att gratis internet inte ingÄr i rummen. Vi var dÀr i början pÄ juni och dÄ var det lite öde stÀmning eftersom belÀggningen var lÄg och hotellet sÄ stort. Alicante som stad var en trevlig överraskning!

Bra hotel vid San Juan stranden

Sidi San Juan ligger 6 km utanför centrum av Alicante. Man tar sig lÀtt ned pÄ stan genom att ta buss 21 eller 22. 22:an stannar pÄ vÀgen tillbaka inte lÄngt frÄn hotellet. Frukosten var mycket bra. Att kunna dricka fÀrsk apelsinjuice och cava pÄ morgonen Àr toppen. PÄlÀggen varierade varje morgon. Vi provade ingen annan mat pÄ hotellet. Dock kan man sÀga att barpriserna Àr hög. Hotellet utger sig för att vara 5-stjÀrnigt men 4 Àr mer rÀtt. PÄ helgen i maj var hotellet fullt med bröllopsgÀster men det störde inte mycket. Det blev Àven trÄngt runt den lilla poolen pÄ helgen. Stranden utanför hotellet Àr mycket finns. Perfekt för gÄng och jogging. Kantas delvis utav barer och restauranger. Rummen Àr vÀl inte direkt toppklass men duger. Balkongen vi hade var i nordlig riktning. Fin utsikt mot stranden men inte mycket sol.

En mycket bra hotell. PolomrÄdet Àr vÀldigt mysigt. dÀr finns bar och enklare tilltugg, espresso osv. Havet ligger precis nedanför hotellet, alla balkonger har havsutsikt.. Strandpromenaden Àr mysig och vi gick ofta lÀngs vattnet dÀr flertalet bra restauranger ligger. Vi hittade en italiensk som var mycket bra. PÄ Hotellet finns badhanddukar att lÄna. Gymmet Àr okej men inte mer. inga fria vikter. men det gÄr köra igenom kroppen. Det finns en mindre butik precis utanför hotellet.

Fantastisk beliggenhet men trenger vedlikehold

Hotellet ligger fantastisk bra til direkte pÄ standen sÄ bedre beliggenhet kan man ikke fÄ. Hotellet trenger imidlertid vedlikehold bÄde utvendig og innvendig. NÄr bl.a murpussen ramler av verandaene utvendig i store flak er det pÄ hÞy tid med en ansiktslÞftning.

Ved ankomst (bil) fikk vi umiddelbar hjelp til bagasjen, ogsÄ helt inn pÄ rommet etter rask innsjekk. Hotellets hage(r) er innbydende, med arealer for late aktiviteter. Hotellet har ogsÄ et utendÞrs og et innendÞrs basseng, samt direkte tilgang til lang og innbydende sandstrand. Garasje i umiddelbar nÊrhet. Strandpromenade med et mangfold av restauranter i lett gangavstand.

Certainement indigne d'un 5 Ă©toiles, plutĂŽt Ă  classer parmi les 4 Ă©toiles...et encore. Une rĂ©novation gĂ©nĂ©rale est Ă  envisager sĂ©rieusement. Les + sont la piscine couverte et la vue depuis la chambre et cette mĂȘme piscine. Le petit dĂ©jeuner est trĂ©s bien et le service trĂ©s bon Ă©galement. J'y reviendrais ? Non c'est certain.

Schönes Hotel mit toller Aussicht

* jedes Zimmer verfĂŒgt ĂŒber einen Balkon mit Meeresblick (der Ausblick und die Lage sind wunderschön), Zimmer sind gerĂ€umig, ruhig und sauber; das Bad ist eher klein, der Duschvorhang und die TrenntĂŒre zwischen Bad und WC lĂ€sst es zudem billig aussehen ... das ist wahrscheinlich auch der Grund, warum es nicht in der Galerie zu finden ist * wunderschöne, ruhige Lage, aber dennoch direkt an der Strandpromenade, wo sich unzĂ€hlige Bars und Restaurants befinden * akzeptables Fitnesscenter mit GerĂ€ten fĂŒr Bizeps, Brust, Schulter und Beinpresse, Ergometer und Laufband; Hallenbad und Freibad sorgen fĂŒr eine angenehme AbkĂŒhlung * das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, besonders an der Rezeption * die GetrĂ€nke sind ĂŒberteuert, speziell Trinkwasser

BekvÀmt hotell nÀra stranden

Trevligt hotell med mer eller mindre egen strand direkt utanför hotellet. Allt var rent och frÀscht med trevlig och hjÀlpsam personal.
