"This was a lovely little budget resort. 35 chalets arranged around a swimming pool and garden. The pool was nice with very warm water so could spend ages in it. Sun loungers around the edge. I was worried there was only Thai breakfast and the staff didn't speak English. However after sitting with a glass of water for 5 minutes the waitress brought me fried egg with frankfurters and 2 slices of toast. "Beautiful location right on the silky sands of Chao Lao Beach. Amazing sunsets every night. Delicious breakfasts with a wide variety of choices. The area is a bit out of the way if you don't have your own car but it's worth. You can take buses to and from Chanthaburi and taxi from there. You can borrow bicycles for free at the hotel. All of the staff seem to be very nice and helpful but of course not all can speak English. Special shout out to the manager Wiboon, who made everything perfect."

"Although we enjoyed our stay here the overall impression of the hotel is that it really needs updating. The rooms were tired, with many issues such as dated curtains that were either open or closed. As we had a ground floor beach front villa this gave little/no privacy if the curtains were open. Net type curtains in the main bedroom at least would have improved this.
