"It was hard to believe we were still in 'Auckland' at this classic kiwi accommodation in such a peaceful, secluded area. The Huia area is great for some calm time away. The accommodation was really cosy with the log-burner (thanks for the wood, Ross), compact kitchen and comfy bed. It was just what we were looking for."

"The view is stunning, easy walking to diary and fish and chip shop. We enjoyed watching the planes across the water go in and out but the noise from this was loud at times. We enjoyed the easy access to the foreshore from the house which was pleasant to stay in. To be on the water to make the most of the view very minute of the day was our highlight as was the week of good weather. What a bonus!"

"What a wonderful place this is. It is so calm and serene with a stunning outlook over the surrounding farms. The place is a great size, it literally has everything you need (the kitchen is very well stocked and there are lovely Eco-store bathroom products to use, plus there was fresh milk, towels, a dishwasher, and washing machine), it is impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. There is a separate indoor dining room as well as your own deck to eat outside and soak in the sun and country...
