"This hotel is better than I expected and the location is just perfect! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. English is not an issue and everyone spoke just fine! We got the deluxe queen room and it was well sized. The hotel room is quiet despite being in the heart of old quarter. I loved it! This will be one of the hotels I returned to next time in Vietnam! We were warmly greated on arrival by Lily (reception staff) she promptly sorted our paperwork out and we headed up to our room. "We stayed at Hotel Lion at the end of a 3 week tour of Vietnam. After staying in half a dozen other hotels, this one was by far the best. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The actual hotel was just renovated. And the area was absolutely perfect. Just a block from train street and so many fantastic food places. The breakfast was pretty good, but the beef pho was our favorite! All around great price for everything you get. If we ever come back to Hanoi, we are staying here again!"
