"We were met with a smile, despite our late arrival by our charming host who is friendly and welcoming. The whole house is decorated with attention to detail including the room we stayed in. "A lovely budget hotel in a Fontainebleau. Friendly welcome, clean, quiet room. Bathroom small by North American standards but not out of the ordinary in Europe. Close to everything, Fontainebleau Chateau is close, ( to enter the grounds) and the ticket booth about 15 minutes away. Place de la Republique is perhaps a 7 minute walk away, with a lovely market three times a week. Dining options are many, varied and close by, (il Primo Biaccio a great Italian place).
