"We wanted a peaceful getaway and that’s what got at the Buck Shack. We were a short drive with breathtaking views and landscapes. We enjoyed a campfire with s’mores at night. Enjoyed the sound of nature and birds singing. Had excellent communication with host and most everything we needed when we arrived. The indoor decor is rustic and beautifully decorated with small accents and details. Highly recommend!☺️"

"The cabin was adorable but I didn’t realize the two person cabin had no bathroom. We were at the top of the hill and had to drive downhill to the bath house. Would have been nice to have a bathroom at least near our cabin to use at night. Also it was a surprise for the $200 deposit to come out the day before our arrival in addition to what we paid. Everything was clean and nice other than that."

"We got so lucky finding this place! It will definitely be our anniversary getaway from now on! The decorations are amazing and so fun, the bed was super comfy (and I’m picky) and the water pressure in the shower was better than my own house!!!! I saw a review complaining about it being musty but it smelled exactly like a cabin should smell, just bring your favorite room spray! I brought my own kayak and my partner used a kayak provided by host and we had a BLAST! This was the PERFECT romantic...
