"We had a great couple of weeks, the house was lovely, the views are amazing. Allevard is a great town with plenty of choice of restaurants. WiFi in the house was a bit patchy in the bedrooms but the teenagers coped! Communications with Remi were easy and quick, we would definitely return and recommend"

"We booked the room with the expectation to find a 4 stars hotel, both families came with our kids and it was supposed to be our winter holiday, but unfortunately it become a nightmare. Rooms were dirty, walls were damaged, juicy or vomit on the floor, the sofa was badly stained and super dirty, toilet was licking and made a bad noise all night, sheets were dirty, no hair drier, no basic hygiene objects, with stinky hair and with a lot of small hauls, the shower didn' t work because the hot water...

"You could not ask for a better location, straight on to the slopes (down to a short lift) and right next to the ‘all day/evening’ lift to take you into town and back if needed. The apartment is small but clean and well equipped. When there was a problem I informed the owner who replied very quickly. Only downside is the lack of WiF. Free wifi is available in the main town area though -(although I never managed to connect successfully). Would be a tight squeeze for a family with teenagers but for...

"We stayed in the chalet as a group of friends for our skiing trip. It was the perfect location as we had access to many slopes as little as a 5 min walk away to getting a gondola for 10 mins over the mountain to Alpe d’huez! "

"This is a very comfortable 2 bedroom apartment located a few minutes drive from St Martin de Belleville and the ski slopes of the fantastic 3 Valleys. Like most ski accommodation, it is quite compact but all facilities are relatively new and modern and work well for a family of 4. The views from the apartment are good and Les Varcins is a pretty place to stay with a few traditional chalet style buildings. Shops and restaurants etc are in St Martin. "If you don’t have a car, it is very difficult to get around as taxis and uber are limited in the area. We had multiple taxi drivers say yes and cancel. Rooms are dated and weird smell coming from the carpet. With limited transportation, we chose to eat at the hotel restaurant which was not good. We booked through Expedia and chose a pay at hotel option - and had picked to include breakfast and access to the spa. The hotel denied that we had chosen that option. Expedia said they couldn’t do anything because I chose pay at hotel. Hotel refused to give me the lower rate because we never did get breakfast or spa access. Definitely not worth what we ended up paying. My recommendation: Stay somewhere else. "

"Property suited our needs well. Short walk to the piest but could almost ski back to the boot room. A little tired in places and knives, peelers could be sharper. Beds comfortable but pillows and duvet could do with a clean. Sheets fine tho. Basic big lockers in boot room so took boots into room to dry. Pool and sauna great. Supermarket ~5min walk. Ski hire on site."

"We were greeted outside by a friendly welcoming member of staff with guidance on how to reach the hotel car parking. The room was basic but clean with plentiful of hot water. All staff were polite and helpful. Great stay"
