Surrounded by hills and woodland it made the perfect getaway for two couples and an extra one on the comfortable sofa bed. St Girons is a lovely small town with a great atmosphere and good access to walking in the Pyrenees. "It does what it says on the tin, unpretentious delivery of what you need somewhere comfortable and clean to sleep. Some of the facilities are a bit plastic, but that's what you expect. Shower a bit small, but again what you expect. Very limited range of options for dinner locally - albeit food in (effectively self-service) Crescendo was good value."

"Absolutely terrific stay, just loved it. We stayed for one night while driving through France. The hotel looks just like the photos, it is charming and comfortable. I recommend getting the charcuterie board and a bottle of wine and taking it to the garden or side balcony. This was a highlight of the trip. "
