"The apartment is lovely, very comfortable. Location is great, just across road from zillertalbahn, so getting about was easy. Aschau itself very small and quiet, but we liked that, Mayrhofen only short train ride away. Marina and her mum were lovely, will definatly be returning."

"Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub, die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben. Leider gab es eine Unstimmigkeit mit unserem Reisezeitraum, wer auch immer das verbockt hat, das werden wir wohl nie erfahren. Aber es wurde uns geholfen und wir haben eine Notlösung gefunden. Die Kommunikation war anfangs etwas träge, aber immer freundlich und letztlich zielführend. Danke für die schöne Zeit. Grüßle aus dem Schwobaländle. "

"Ginzling - unlike some of the nearby towns - remains an authentic, likeable and calm village. It's a fabulous base for walking the zillertarel alps. We hired a car but didnt really need it as there are many walk from the door and a regular bus service between mayrhofen and the lake at the very end of the valley. Gerda and Kurt are fabulous, helpful and welcoming hosts. Can honestly say in many years of self-catering in Europe, I've never met such attentive hosts. The apartment is well-equipped...

"For UK guests, having to take your own bedding and towels is a negative. Location is not a two-minute walk into town: ten minutes in, nearly twenty back as it’s all up! The bus from town finishes at 5pm. Kitchenette is facilitated - just. A dining table would be nicer than the fixed worktop, especially as there is room. The specification suggests there is a bedroom but it is a studio apt with a separate bathroom. Good sized balcony and large glass doors a definite bonus with a decent view."
