"The hotel was fine (although having absolutely no wifi was a bit of a surprise and not ideal for the type of travelling we were doing). Because we were there in mid-April, it isn't the best time to be at a location that is catering to summer beach goers, so my rating of the location suffers a bit. This is just a matter of timing though. We had driven up from Berlin to go to Peenemunde, and this was a fine hotel to spend the night after before moving on."

"A very unique hotel. The steampunk/underwater theme is perhaps not to everyone's linking, and the location best described as "in the middle of nowhere" - however, full points for trying to be different! Excellent food, no complaints about accommodation, staff, etc."

"Stayed here with the family. We thought this would be a fun break from our travels to swim and do the rock climbing wall but you need advance reservations for the wall. And the pool is just a lap pool. There were lots of kids there for sports camps. We couldn’t wait to check out and move on. "

"Excellent hotel with comfortable bed and plentiful breakfast. I did not use the balcony due to the weather. Guests have use of the sauna and swimming pool at the nearby VNU Hotel (at the top of the hill) for EUR15. This under repair on the first night but I did use it on the 2nd night, they do ask you to wear flip flops or other bathing shoes. The hotel is handy for the REWE supermarket and shops. "Great hotel, fantastic views, excellent spa facilities. Room excellent - spacious with cooking facilities in the private hall rather than the bedroom itself so you do not need to sleep with stale cooking smells. Very well equipped, though in summer the lack of air con may be a factor. Only downside was the pillows (though that and the lack of air con seems to be a common problem in hotels in Germany)."

"I payed for the room in advance, but i was charged again upon leave. It was recognized in the last minute and promised to refund me in a week. Parking at the hotel costs extra, so we parked at the station instead. Breakfast can be approached either before 9 or after, but not at any time. If we wanted a dinner, we had to report in in the morning. Strange and somewhat funny rituals. "

"Ferienwohnung with view to the ocean. Modern and clean. It was unusual to have the reception not covered all day, but somehow okay. I personally would prefer to have staff on site 24/7. Not many options for restaurants bur supermarket is close to shop and cook your own meals. "

Great hotel in very good location

"The hotel has a great location. You can get by foot to the town centre in about 15 minutes and the beaches around the hotel are way less crowded than in other parts. There is also a bus station close by that will get you to Binz station as well as surrounding towns and the Rasender Roland. The hotel itself is surprisingly large with a lot of amenities on offer that we didn't have time to check, but there are plenty of restaurants and bars as well as fun activities within the hotels perimeters. The 2 room apartment is big and has everything you could need including a drying rack, pots and pans for cooking, hair dryer, and plenty of tables to eat. Only one thing to note, at least for us, the shampoo dispenser was outside the shower with no other options provided, so consider to bring your own."
