"This is a lovely property connected to the Hotel Antico Vicenza. Spacious, clean, steps from the Pallazo, great shopping and restaurants. The staff at the hotel are just delightful and really go out of their way to be helpful. We were traveling with small children and the apartment was easily childproofed, building and courtyard safe and elevator modern and in working order."

"During our time in Italy, we stayed in four locations and this was our favorite. It is such a comfortable home, with thoughtful attention to detail. The location is beautiful, nestled in olive groves and overlooking mountain vineyards. The hosts were kind and attentive. You do need a car to get around as it is outside the city, which was the only drawback. However, the property made that worth the effort. We would absolutely recommend this property!"

"The owner made the stay a 5 star stay! He doesn’t speak English but he uses a great app and he was so attentive and welcoming."

"This villa is lovely and old and very spacious. The hosts are beyond charming and so helpful. We were able to enjoy being in the country while also being very proximate to cities, towns, wine tasting and other activities, like hilltop hiking. The kitchen was not the most convenient for home cooking for Americans used to a more modern kitchen, but we managed. Our hostess made our first dinner, which was so nice and so delicious. This is an optional add-on. "

"The apartment was good for our needs, with most of the things we needed provided. There were minor issues which were resolved by the owner, Vito. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and the area around the apartment was quiet and safe. Would recommend."

"We had the honor of staying here at the end of our two week tour. Loretta is fabulous and the breakfast spread is delicious. It was great to meet the horses (be careful the youngest is a little fiesty, if his ears are back don't try and say 'Hi') . We would highly recommend! The only slight downside was the box elder bugs. Maybe some kind of traps could be used, there were quite a few. But, we understand the battle!"

"The hotel is very old and outdated. The bed is the smallest I have ever slept in the entire life. There was a roof leak in the bathroom. No kettle in the room to make tea and the weather was so cold. I went to ask for water to make tea, I was charge €4 for hot water only. The dinner was so o expensive and tasteless. "I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel just outside of Vicenza in the Vicentina Alta zone. I've stayed at many other hotels in the area and was always a bit let-down. They had a beautiful spa, well-equipped gym, tasty restaurant and my Junior Suite was large and comfy with a spacious bathroom which is not common in Italy "

"The property is in the centre of Vicenza. Most, if not all areas of interest are within walking distance of the hotel. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Hotel rooms are adequate, in my case, for two people, clean with coffee or tea making facilities. ( it could do with a couple of extra hooks in the bathroom to hang towels etc.. Breakfast was abundant with a very good selection of savoury and sweet fare. "

Nice stay in Vicenza

"The hotel was nice overall. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathroom has plenty of space and the shower is a good size. The room was serviced and cleaned every day. Breakfast was a great deal at only 5 euro per day. Only issue I had was that I hardly ever saw anyone at the front desk. In fact, when I arrived there Sunday around 6pm, the front door was locked and nobody was at the front desk. I had to call their number and they remotely let me in. They left my room key in an envelope on the front desk. There is a great restaurant right in front of the hotel. There is also a small shopping center with a grocery store right across the street."

"Great hotel! clean room and helpful staff. also 20 min walk to town center but sound was an issue in the rooms as you could hear the room next door or people walking down the corridor. another plus was the supermarket downstairs was very handy "
