"Location is perfect, just at start of hill in old town. What we wished we had known when we arrived instead of going up the steep steps if you go past this there is a more gentle ramp.This is a small boutique hotel only 4 rooms, all named after wines, we stayed in Sav blanc room Small but adequate, very comfortable bed. "A nice hotel maybe not the greatest location as it's located at the far end of Altea. Taxis took on average 20 to 30 minutes wait time's to and from the old city. Hotel staff was friendly. Pool area was nice except the 3 days of filming with drones flying over you and the film crew were annoying. Buffet for breakfast and dinner had a nice selection. "

From the moment you step into the lobby the smell of whatever they are using is quite strong, incense perhaps.
