Points positifs : Excellent service client et hôtel très propre. De plus la chambre est bien agencée ce qui rend les moments de vie passés dans la chambre agréables. Points négatifs : Pour y être resté une semaine, je trouve que le lit n’est pas de bonne qualité et je n’ai pas très bien dormi à cause du matelas et des oreilles bas de gamme.

My son and I chose this property for our first 2 nites in Lisbon and could not be happier. The hotel is located in the heart of old town Lisbon, right by the Museum of the Republican National Guard and the Museum of Archeology of Carmo. The check in process was quick and smooth. The hotel receptionist/ concierge Leonardo was very pleasant and accommodating. He showed us a map of the area and pointed out the must see attractions. He also recommended top restaurants in the are, per our request. The breakfast was delicious and featured plenty of choices! Never realized how delicious Portuguese bread and pastries are! Yum! The room was very spacious, clean and elegantly decorated. It had all necessary amenities, safe included. The hotel was able to accommodate my reservation requests. If you love bookstores, the oldest operating bookstore on the planet, Livraria Bertrand, is a mere 5 minute walk away. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby and close to all city center attractions. Will definitely stay at this property in the future!

I recently stayed at the Wine & Books Hotel in Lisbon, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The hotel has a unique charm, blending literary elegance with a refined wine atmosphere. A few standout features made my stay truly memorable. First, the shower was a real highlight—spacious, with a rainfall feature that felt incredibly relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. And the bed was incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect rest for my busy days in Lisbon. Breakfast was another great touch. I loved being able to order a hot, made-to-order breakfast, and the coffee—freshly brewed and rich in flavor—was a perfect start to the day. The hotel is located just outside the central old town, which turned out to be a real plus. It made getting around much easier—calling a Bolt (Lisbon’s rideshare) was quick, and I didn’t have to worry about the busy traffic in the heart of the city. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the peaceful atmosphere offered a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Whether you’re looking for comfort, relaxation, or convenience, Wine & Books Hotel has it all. I’ll definitely be back!
