Location of this hotel is good, walking distance to many main sites. The hotel it’s okay, very basic accommodations, carpet in rooms and hallways are stained and don’t look clean. Breakfast buffet is good, sign up for be Melia membership and you’ll get a 2-for-1 discount regular price is 28 Euro p/person. We experienced an issue with our A/C and was fixed in a timely manner. Check in was smooth and Tamara in the reception was very helpful and friendly. On the other hand, the concierge was rude and didn’t seem interested in assisting us. We were standing in front of his booth for a while and didn’t talk or even asked if we needed help, until we asked if there was anyone who can help us, and when I asked if he spoke English he said “sometimes” like he was bothered he had to speak English. I’m not sure if I’ll choose to stay at Melia if I visit Berlin again. I’ll probably stay in a different area of Berlin.

"The beds were super comfy and the rooms were modest, but clean. Check in wasn’t smooth: the self check-in kiosk didn’t work, but then I queued for 10-15min while a clerk took a phone call, despite being called forward to the desk.
